Jeep Safari in the Taurus Mountains

Would you like to discover the unique nature and scenery of the Taurus Mountains around the Oymapınar Reservoir together with your family? Depending on where your hotel is, we pick you up in our Land Rover Defender jeeps between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning. At our meeting point we join the other jeeps and then visit the Manavgat Waterfall (entrance fee €1 for adults, free for children).

Then our drive through the countryside to the Green Canyon begins – including our off-road show, which you only get with the Defender jeeps. Passing historic Roman aqueducts and driving through small villages where we meet the locals, we reach the Green Lake. In the village of Oymapınar we take a break at the home of a local family, where you can try our special Turkish pancakes (gözleme) and buy drinks if you like. As we continue to the Oymapınar Dam (Green Canyon), the water fight between the jeeps begins, depending on the summer heat – the biggest fun of the day for families and children. At the top of the Oymapınar Dam in the Green Canyon, we stop to take in the beauty of nature from a bird's-eye view.

Afterwards we head to our restaurant for lunch, where we spend about 2 hours. You can choose between a chicken menu and a fish menu (chicken skewer or trout, served with French fries, rice and salad). On the swimming platform, our small aqua park with slides offers extra fun. To round off the day with some culture, we visit a mosque where the locals come to pray every day, giving you an even better insight into the region. We bring you back to your hotel at around 16:00.
