Alanya Tandem Paragliding

We pick you up from your hotel in the Side area between 8:30 and 9:30, and after a drive of about an hour we reach Cleopatra Beach in Alanya. There you receive our instructors' insurance cards and all the important information before we head to the takeoff point with our vehicles and equipment. Passing banana plantations, we drive up a hill at an altitude of 500 metres. Here the instructors explain what to pay attention to during the flight, and then you put on your equipment. If you have no flying experience of your own, you fly together with a professional instructor; experienced paragliders can also take off on their own. The flight, with views of the magnificent Alanya Castle, the peninsula, the city and the Taurus Mountains on the Mediterranean, lasts about 15 minutes. Depending on the wind, you can climb as high as 2,000 metres. Your adrenaline-filled flight ends at Cleopatra Beach. At our agency's office right on the beach, you can view the photos and videos taken during your flight and buy them if you wish. After that you have free time: at Cleopatra Beach, with its unique sandy shore and clear water, you can swim, sunbathe and eat at the restaurant – or explore Alanya, a city with a remarkable history and culture. At around 16:30–17:00 we meet at the meeting point given by your guide and return by bus. You will be back at your hotel at around 17:30–18:00.
